We have been hiking along Canada's 28,000 km long Trans CanadaTrail since the spring of 2019.  We began in Cape Spear, NL and are walking west to Victoria, BC before walking north from Fort Saskatchewan, AB to Tuktoyaktuk, NT.

As we hike the Trans Canada Trail, we are raising awareness of the importance of protecting wild birds and their habitats across Canada.  During the Come Walk With Us Expedition, we are highlighting the many opportunities available for becoming active participants in the vibrant outdoor recreation, conservation, and Citizen Science communities across Canada.  Our focus is on connecting families and youth to nature through birding, and inspiring a passion to become lifelong explorers,  outdoor enthusiasts, and protectors of wilderness.

 

Our dedication and enthusiasm are boundless, but we cannot achieve our goals alone.  Our primary means of funding this trek is through personal savings.  From this, our current budget for covering food, shelter, and necessary supplies over the three year period is only $10/day/person.  To make this journey a success we are looking for your support. Together we can make a difference!
